Health & Safety Manager required for a Project Management Company who work on some extremely interesting and diverse projects worldwide. You will be working on major construction and mixed use developments and will be reporting directly to the Project Director for day to day operational activities.
The main function of the HSE Managers role will be to establish, implement and maintain the Project Health and Safety Management System documentation in accordance with Health and Safety Management System requirements.
This is a client based role and you will be a key focal point for all contractors, HSE staff and will ensure that the client's interests are looked after at all times. This is a Management position and you will be office based 80% of the time attending meetings, reviews and ensuring that the project is running as planned and all areas of HSE are covered.
You must have major construction projects background and will have worked on major civil and high rise building projects. You will have an international recognised qualification in Health and Safety and it is very important that you can offer years of management experience working on major construction/ mixed use developments. A working background of projects in MENA regions would be highly beneficial. The position is for a permanent member of staff and the client is looking for candidates with a solid and sustained work history this is not a short term contract. The project will last at least 5 years and the client wants a candidate who is interested in the long haul. There are two positions on offer based in Yemen and Sudan. Candidates with a Petrol chem background will not be considered by the client.
